Capture Real Human Input

While Multi-Point Clicking is great for exact coordinate clicks, some tasks are just too tedious to build point-by-point. What if you need to drag items, type text, or perform a fluid mix of mouse and keyboard actions?

Enter the Macro Recorder.

The Macro Recorder in NX Auto Clicker watches what you do (your mouse movements, clicks, and what you type) and records it. You can then play it back exactly as you performed it.

How to Record Your First Macro

  1. Select Macro Recorder from the sidebar in your NX Auto Clicker app.
  2. Start Recording: Hit the record button or use the designated hotkey to start capturing.
  3. Perform the Action: Simply do the task you want to automate. Move your mouse, click, type on your keyboard. Try to perform the actions at a normal, steady pace.
  4. Stop Recording: Press the stop hotkey or button once you’re done.

You now have a captured macro ready to be replayed!

Replaying and Adjusting Speed

Once recorded, you can play your macro back. But NX Auto Clicker gives you an extra superpower: Playback Speed.

  • Are you farming in a game and need the actions to happen as fast as possible? Adjust the playback speed to 2x or 4x.
  • Is the application you are automating a bit slow to respond? Slow the macro down to 0.5x or 0.25x to ensure every input registers correctly.

Best Practices for Macro Recording

  • Start from a Consistent State: Always ensure the window or app you are automating is in the correct initial state before hitting “Record” and before hitting “Replay”. If your macro starts by clicking a “Start” button, make sure that button is visible!
  • Don’t Rush the Recording: Record at a comfortable, natural pace. You can always speed it up during playback. If you record too fast and the target application stutters, your macro might miss a click.
  • Save and Reuse: Just like other automation modes, your macros can be saved to the Task Manager. Build up a library of reusable macros for different tasks.

Pushing the Boundaries

The Macro Recorder is powerful, but what if you need logical loops, precise mathematical delays, or an extremely fine-tuned sequence that is hard to perform perfectly by hand? For the ultimate control, you’ll want to dive into the Script Editor.
